Foster + Partners Project

The British architect Norman Foster won the international design competition for the Leisure & Culture Zone of MotorLand Aragón. He fought off strong competition from a long list of other architects including Nouvel, Perrault, UNStudio and MVRDV-Reynes.

Throughout his long and prolific career, Norman Foster has put his name to many building projects. He has designed skyscrapers in London, Frankfurt and New York as well as airports, such as those of Hong Kong and Beijing. In Spain he is known for works such as Collserola Tower in Barcelona and the Bilbao Metro. In 1999 he was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize – an award often described as “the Nobel of architecture”.
